Could one say:

1 How many years does the movie take place over?

2 How months does one season of this show take place over?

You know sometimes in movies you get FLASHBACK, whats the opposite of that, when you see into the future. "we saw ___ of the main character years into the future."

4 Tv shows are better than movies in her opinion as you don't have to wait for the action you're always in the midst of the action as you go from one episode to another whereas a movie, you have to wait for it to start and sometimes you have to wait forever for it to get anywhere. (is there anything wrong with this?)

These are understandable but awkward. Instead try something like:
"What time period does the movie/show cover?"

"a flashforward"

Okay as corrected. There are other possible rewrites, including breaking it into two or more sentences, which I leave as an exercise for the student. Emotion: smile
