I have problems with these

1 You can say this just as/like you can say that. I don't know if its AS or LIKE that you use?
2 would you rather talk a little bit and be listened to or talk nonstop and be ignored. Can you say BE LISTENED TO?
3 The more you scroll down the smaller your chances of finding the aplication you're looking for.

Thank you

alc241 You can say this just as/like you can say that. I don't know if its AS or LIKE that you use? Use "as" in this case.
2 would you rather talk a little bit and be listened to or talk nonstop and be ignored. Can you say BE LISTENED TO? Yes.

3 The more you scroll down the smaller your chances of finding the aplication you're looking for. This is okay. I'd use a comma after "down," for clarity.

Thank you Avangi.

Could someone else tell me what they think about 2.

2 Would you rather talk a little bit and be listened to or talk nonstop and be ignored. (What do you think about this sentence?)

Thank you

Gee! You're welcome!Emotion: bow
Really thank you, I just wanted to know what someone else thought about LISTENED TO?

Thanks
I know your heart's in the right place. I thought it was humorous that in several threads you seemed to reject my comments as unauthoritative. I was just making a joke. Emotion: big smile
I get nervous when people show me too much respect!

alc242 Would you rather talk a little bit and be listened to or talk nonstop and be ignored. (What do you think about this sentence?)
It's fine.
alc24The more you scroll down the smaller your chances of finding the aplication you're looking for.
I think that should be:
The more you scroll down the smaller your chances of finding the aplication you're looking for ARE.

But you guys said it was ok because "are" can be left out and it's implicit, right? Like in "The fastest (your car) (is), the better (it is)", right?
The more the merrier.

Right. A native speaker would not add "are." Emotion: smile
