hi dudes
im writing a very formal email to a professor, asking him to provide me with the questionnaires he mentioned in his book while he left their places blank saying he will put them in the book in the next edition. i am using this sentence: Also, we request you to inform us of any other questionnaires in conjunction with autism that we might find helpful for this research, like those you left their places blank in your book to fill in later. now, do you think this is proper to say it in this way? i need your urgent help

The first thing that you need to learn about formality is to not address strangers as 'dude'. Your other sentence is too formal.

Also, could you please make available to us of any other questionnaires on autism helpful for this research, like those left blank in your book?

well, you may be right about the first thing, but is it necessary to take it too much tough and formal while writing in a forum?(i am sure you got much more experience than me)
what about this one:"Also, we request you to inform us of any other questionnaires in conjunction with autistic disorders that we might find helpful for this research, like those you were supposed to add to your book() ,and other resources we may have missed in our searches . We are interested in undertaking these psychometric tests and we will surely send you the results.
well, you may be right about the first thing, but is it necessary to take it too much tough and formal while writing in a forum?-- First, this is a special case: we are an English language learning forum. In a forum about video games or other casual topics, you may do as you please. Second, you may be able to address strangers as 'dudes' on the internet, but doing so in person may earn you a broken nose: it is not polite except among peers.

I have never had such an experience, i am not sure about your nose (lol).-- My nose is fine: I would not be stupid enough to use the word 'dude' to anyone.
