Please explain which of the three choices below can be used.

I got to know your company through

If the title of the magazine is Japan Trade, you can use Japan Trade magazine or the magazine Japan Trade.
If you are referring instead simply to a certain type of magazine, and I suspect you are, use a Japanese trade magazine.

Hello CJ,

Thank you very much for your explanation.

Japan Trade is a (imaginary) magazine title I created for my grammatical question.

For example, I have several issues of the Japan Trade magazine like the Augusut, September and October
issues. If I mean one of the issues of the Japan Trade magazine, may I say "...a Japan Trade magazine..." ?

I usderstand it would be better to indicate the concrete issue like "the September issue of the Japan Trade magazine.".........

OK. In that case you can say a Japan Trade magazine. My preference would be simply an issue of Japan Trade.
