that have no nutrient value but make the food more attractive or give pleasure is called a heavy clause. (It's long. It has a lot of words. So it's "heavy".)

We don't usually put a heavy clause in its normal position when we have only a few words left in the sentence to complete the thought (are consumed). It makes the reader wait too long before he gets the full thought.

We normally finish the short clauses first and then put the heavy clause at the end, even if it means reversing the usual order of clauses.
