My teacher told me that personal skills are not considered to be evidence, which is not the case with this example which I study in my textbook. I want to know what is meant by 'big players' here. Dies it mean 'skilled players'? I also want to know whether personal skills are considered to be evidence or not? Thank you in advance.

Omar Ahmed I want to know what is meant by 'big players' here.

Where? I think you forgot to post the text that you are referring to?

This is the text I am referring to

"big" appears to refer to physical size. This is not a "skill".

But 'big' also means outstandingly worthy or able; active and enthusiastic. What about the other question I asked?

Omar AhmedBut 'big' also means outstandingly worthy or able; active and enthusiastic.

It can do, but my judgement is that it does not in your example.

Omar AhmedWhat about the other question I asked?

If you are asking whether it is correct to say e.g. "The other team's players are X. It's going to be a difficult match.", where X describes some kind of skill, then the answer is yes.
