Is this sentence correct?

What does this mean: “look to project”? I can’t wrap my head around it.

What about saying : “one of the ways you can look to see if a quarterback...” or “one of the ways you can tell if a quarterback...”?

One of the ways you can look to project how to really see if a quarterback is going to be successful is...

One definition of "to look to infinitive" is to plan to infinitive. The sportscaster has used it ineptly, but you try talking for an hour with no script without sounding stupid every so often. "Project" is a trendy way of saying "predict" that doesn't work here: "One of the ways you can try to predict if a quarterback is going to be successful is..."
