Dear All

I need your help!

My boss decided to register our company in HK and he wanted to change our company name.

We do business like brand protection, trademark agency, anti-counterfeiting for well-known brands. The problem is we are not sure what should we named the company seems more general in English countries? *****Trademark Agency Office/Firm or *****Trademark Attorney Office/Firm?

What is the difference between Agency and Attorney? And what is the difference between Office and Firm? Which one is more suitable to our company?

Thanks and looking forward to your answer!

An attorney is a lawyer; an agency offers services on behalf of its customers. A firm is a company offering professional services. An office is a physical facility for a company or firm, or a government department. 'Agency' is in itself a company designation, so 'agency firm' is redundant.

Use *** Trademark Agency.
I think "Trademark Agency" is Ok

Thank you! Mister!

You have made it clear for me!

I have another question about "office" because some companies use it as part of company name in HK, such as "****Law Office". Is it common?

Thanks!
