Hi, small quandary here. Here is the sentence: "School will dismiss early Friday for a teacher's workday."

Why should early be diagrammed under will dismiss instead of Friday?

Thanks a ton!

Friday is always at the same time — between Thursday and Saturday.

There are no early Fridays or late Fridays.

School [will be dismissed early] for a teacher's workday — on Friday.

Thank you

What is confusing for me is that we can say early morning or late afternoon but not early Friday meaning the early part of the day.
