Give me your toughts and candidates!

Heres some!

Federer VS> Sampras & Hingis VS. Davenport

which pair and why????

raiden005------ i am still waiting for a reply!!
Federer (all-round game, mastery, ability to make the nearly impossible seem routine, self-control)

(I loved watching Sampras play, though.)

Seles (before she was stabbed) (all-round game, intensity, mastery)

Navratilova seems unique in terms of staying power. She's still playing doubles in tournaments! And she and her partner are doing well.

I like watching lots of players. The Agassi-Blake match in the last U.S. Open was great. I'm looking forward to the U.S. Open this year.

Thx 4 replying Nef!!!,

I totoally agree with you! You couldn't be more right. What about Nadal? Do you think he stands a chance of ever taking over the number 1 spot from federer? He just seems like too a talented player to never attain number one b cuz of fed. ?!?! And have you seen Gasquet lately? He's won one of the US open series tournaments! His game has improved tremendously since recovering from his injury early this year and late last year. Aned lets not leave out he's one of only four players to hoist a win over Fed..
What do you think!?

Also on the womens side Ive been impressed with Nicole Vadiasova having an excellent Roland Garros and beeing a consistent semifinalist in the regular season turnaments. She alredy has wins over top ten players not to mention shes top ten herself, and she has won like 4 tournaments alredy. When i saw ana Ivanovic and Sesil Kratancheva I thought they would b top 5 atleast but Ana Ivanovic has been fairly quite and Sesil was band from the game because of steroids. I saw Sarena's come back at the Nasdaq last week and thought it was a sorry excuse for the game of tennis; her motivation level is definately lacking. I dont hate her for finding a career outside of tennis; but its that now she thinks she is so good that she doesn't have to try anymore.

Well those are my thoughts you can write back with yours!

I just read that Andy Murray (Britain) beat Roger Federer. Big upset!

Nadal is amazing and I think that, at some point, there will be no stopping him.

I don't know much about Gasquet yet, but I read that he has moved way up in the standings.

Vadiasova is very impressive. So are quite a few of the other Russian women. Dementieva is very interesting to watch because she has had so much trouble with her serve, but is so good at everything else.

Jankovich's game is impressive, too.

I also saw Serena's recent match. When she is playing her top game, I think she can beat everyone else on the tour. But it has been a long time since she has been playing her top game. Maybe there just are too many other things she wants to do now.

I also like watching Mauresmo, Henin-Hardene, and Sherapova.

Justine Henin-Hardenne is looking very good. I just saw her defeat Svetlana Kusnetsova in the semi-finals of the Pilot Pen Tournament. Kusnetsova played well, but there was no stopping Henin-Hardenne. She'll play Lindsay Davenport in the finals tomorrow.
Sampras without doubt and Steffi Graff.
A lot of good tennis playes in both sexes, in the masculine side you can name Federer, McEnroe, Lendl, Agassi, Bjorg, Connors. I'll say Federer, cause is very difficult to win so many Wimbledons in a row. In the feminine side you have Navratilova, Seles, Hingis, Graff, Henin, Mauresmo,.. I'll go with Steffi Graff in this instance.
