Hi, have a lovely trip.

You are going on vacation not 'in vacancy'.
Thank's! ... On vacation ... I should remember this!!!!
Students: Are you brave enough to let our tutors analyse your pronunciation?
Gaia74Hello Francesca,

unfortunately, I'm going to go to New York, Boston ... from 25th May to 12th June ...

So you arrive when I leave Emotion: thinking this is called: 'perfect timing' Emotion: stick out tongue
I have only one advice for you:

a friend that was in NY last year has say me that I have to try the bagels and that I have to visit the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) because is very beautiful and normally the tourist visit only the Metropolitan (that's great too, but has lot of collections inside and the rooms are not separate for period but for collection!)

Have a nice trip!
Oh Thanks Gaia! Anyway MOMA was already in my plans, as you can see I have 'the Starry night' by Van Gogh on my avatar, and it is there, in the MOMA Emotion: wink

I'm going to taste bagles too, besides I'm not eager to taste the American coffee...how could I do without 'my' short strong coffee??? I remember that in Paris it was quite a drama Emotion: tongue tied
Teachers: We supply a list of EFL job vacancies
I remember the france coffee too ... Emotion: stick out tongue You can always find an italian coffee shop and try to order a "short"!

Maybe we will be less nervous!

In the MOMA is the "Cafè de nuit" too!!!!!! Fantastic!
When you're in Boston, you should try the Clam Chowder and the Fish Chowder (Pronounced Chowdah).
Hi again,

Which kind of meat is the "smoked meat"? Meat that has been cured/seasoned by hanging it up in smoke. Try it.

Your last comment about the Niagara Falls was a bit odd ... I don't understand if it is sarcastic or not. No, it wasn't. Sarcasm is humour with an unkind intention. I was just making a lttle joke that Niagara Falls offers solely the Falls, and not any special or unique food.Emotion: smile

I have read a lot about the Niagara Falls and I'm going to visit the canadian part for sure. Do you think that I'll have a disappointment? No, definitely not. The Falls are truly awe-inspiring and fascinating. You can stand and look at them for a long time without getting bored. I love natural beauties, but I don't like very much the tourist ... Away from the Falls, the rest of the town of Niagara Falls is very touristy. But beside the Niagara River, there is a lot of nice park land.

Best wishes, Clive

Dammit, I wanna go to the US too. It's not fair...
Ok, ok, maybe one day I'll go there like you two (Cesca and Gaia)... but not to Boston, I think (I'm afraid of the accent there, I've heard it's "infamous" Emotion: stick out tongue)
