Hello, everybody

I'm studying English and have some questions about the name of American and British.

I think a person who possesses American nationanlity is an American. Is that correct?

On the other hand, in the United Kingdom, what is a person who possesses British nationanlity called? Is it a British?

Hi,

Is it a British? No.

Some people say 'I'm a Brit'. Some people, including me, don't like that term very much. Others have no problem with it.

Many people simply say 'I'm British', using the adjectival form.

Best wishes, Clive

Hi,
A person from Britain is also called a Briton (formal).
The word Brit is an informal way of saying this.
