Hello, Can you help me with the following:

1. you called him up Does it mean you came to visit him or you telephoned him?

2.he found it in his heart to forgive me Found what? strength? How do you understand this?

3 Then I got pregnant with you, and life just took over? we did no longer have control, but life led us, so to speak?

4.The date put the paper at more than a year old? Does it mean that the date showed that papers were 1 year old?

Thank you

Hello Antonia

1. You phoned.

2. He found {whatever it takes to forgive someone} in his heart and forgave me. (Call it ingredient X.)

3. I no longer controlled my life: life controlled me.

4. The date meant that the paper was more than a year old.

The heart is generally considered to be the source (organ) of love--as distinct from 'the head', consdered to be the source (organ) of reason. Love, not reason, is generally considered to be the basis of forgiveness. Strength, perhaps, has its source, traditionally, in the hara.
