Please, are there mistakes in the sentences below ?

a) How long time no see you ! = it is said when we don't see someone for a long time.

b) Have you already traveled abroad before? (is there any matter to write before here?)

c) My godness! = It is used, e.g., when there is surprise.

Thanks,

Roberta

Hi, Roberta,

a) I wonder if you're thinking of the old expression, "Long time no see." It's still very common in the US, but I don't know if it was ever popular in the UK.

b) You should eliminate either the "already" or the "before." Only one is needed.

c) Exactly so, but you need a double "o." My goodness!

Best wishes, - A.
Hello, Avangi!

- Yeah, I was referring to "Long time no see you!" . I just forgot that we don't use the interrogative word "How" before "long".

Thank you very much for your reply.

Best wishes,

Roberta

Long time no see - is a common saying in the UK too.
But is it wrong if I say to someone that I don't see for a long time: Long time no see you! (?)

Thanks again,

Roberta.
