Can anyone tell me if it is an APA style or not? As far as I know yes, but my lecturer tells me that something is wrong with it.

Achinstein, B. & Athanases, S., Z., (Eds.) (2006) Mentors in the Making: Developing New Leaders for New Teachers. New York: Teachers College Press. p. 196

Thanks beforehand

Here is a reference from the APA guide:

Duncan, G. J., & Brooks-Gunn, J. (Eds.). (1997). Consequences of growing up poor. New York, NY: Russell Sage Foundation.

What I see mistaken in yours are these:

1-- No comma should follow 'Z.'

2-- Period should follow (Eds).

3-- Period should follow (2006).

4-- All of the title should be in italics: Mentors in the Making: Developing New Leaders for New Teachers

5-- State after city: New York, NY:

6-- APA's in-text citations (though they do not include the entire publication information as here) place the page enumeration in parentheses: '(p.196)'
