Hi, everyone.

Could someone proofread this application. I would be much obliged.

The dean,

Riphah International University.

(Address)

Subject: Bus service fee payment method change.

Respected Sir,

It is stated that I am a student of second year (Department name).I am writing this to bring to your kind attention that I have been in a bike accident, which was my regular commute medium. Nowadays, I have to go on local bus and it is also quite unsafe. Therefore, I want to subscribe to the university bus service, but due to financial issues, I can't pay you the subscription charges in lump sum (i.e. semester wise). I would be very grateful if you would allow me to pay the charges of the bus service in monthly installments. Kindly facilitate me in this regard.

Yours obediently,

nel0506As stated,

Thank you very much nel0506 for your answer.

Could you tell me why "it is stated" is incorrect? And what does "As stated" mean? Does it mean "as stated (already) "?

I didn't understand what you meant, but "As stated, " is a common expression if you attach a letter along with an application form.

Where is it stated? At the bottom of the letter, or in a form?

Is "it is stated that" simply wrong to use at the start of a letter?

Students: We have free audio pronunciation exercises.

Can you tell me what it means? (that's my problem)

I take it to mean "It is said that"?

Ah, maybe you mean this, to call to attention something known:

As you know, I am a second-year student in the Department of X ..

Students: Are you brave enough to let our tutors analyse your pronunciation?

So, is it wrong to write "it is stated that" at the start of the letter?
