Alright guys, what do we say then? Is it possible to tell someone's gender from the content of his/her posts?

I say we can guess, but that will only be a guess, for, many other parameters may eventually influence the person's choice of words. We can have a strong feeling, but the certitude, I don't think.

A good observer will easily spot out a person who can't fake well online. But someone who knows to play smart may be smarter than the best observant. That's true even in real life, isnt it?
