Dear teachers

Please, help me with these two sentences out.

E.g. You look very tired. You need a holiday.

Shall we go out for a meal this evening?

Do we put the indefinite article "a" with the following Nouns?

Thanks beforehand

Greetings Natalli !

The letter a (indefinite article) should be used before all words beginning with a consonant sound except silent h (an honor) and before words beginning with vowels that represent combined consonant and vowel sounds (university, unit).

Examples: a boy, a European, a picture, a meal, a store, a table, a bottle, a window, a phone, a hyphen, and a one-horse town.

We can put indefinite artcile "a" (with these nouns "meal" & "Holiday") which is totally fine in your case.
