1. How do you think, what is funny?

2. What do you think is funny?

Are the both sentences okay? Natural? Please tell me if there's more natural way of asking someone's opinion about what is funny.

Thanks a lot.

Thank you, LP and Philip, for your reply. I'm afraid my question was not clear enough, 'cause... "what's so funny" is not the type of question I wanted to learn here. Let me put this way: when you want to know some people's sense of humor, in general, how would you ask their opinion? How to ask how they think about what is funny, in some natural way... May I ask, "What do you think is funny"...?

I will appreciate any suggestion!

Hi GG, thank you for your suggestion, yes, it's much better. And.. forgive me for being slow -- I'd still like to know about the sentences below:

1. How do you think, what is funny?
2. What do you think is funny?
Mr.Anonymous said 1 is no good, 2 is fine. Would you agree? (I need your help, I've been saying 1, on reflection.)

Hello CJ!

You gave me the answer while I was composing my question to GG. Thank you Emotion: smile

For some reason, "what do you think is funny?" didn't seem natural to me. Now I stand corrected.
