Hi,

I'm looking for an internet source of audio-video text translation which consists of film or listening translating, dubbing, subtitling, etc.
Since this is my university assignment and many students were asked to do the same task, I don't want my article to be repetitive by other students. I mean many students basically Google the issue and choose the first appeared links for their project and if I do so there would be the probability of gaining the same sources like the others.
Hence, I'd be so grateful if anybody help me and give some authentic, valuable sources.

Regards,

Iman

Hi
I would like you to explain what exactly is audio-video text translation. I don't know about it. A brief explanation would help me understand. We will then help you out.

Hi Praj,

This is a technical course at university for students studying English Translation. As I mentioned before it involves translating movies, recordings, different approaches of dubbing, subtitling, etc.
So I'm looking for a genuine sources which have related issues to refer to for my research.

I hope I'm clear enough to be helped.

Dear Iman,
I think I have a poor level of understanding things.Emotion: rofl

I don't know whether you are looking for any of these:
1. A short movie/audio clip(of any other language other than English) translated into English.(Were you asked to present a translated video clip?)
2. Issues faced when translating movies. An article which describes about the problems of translating movies. I thought this because you have written:So I'm looking for a genuine sources which have related issues to refer to for my research.
Look here, for some info:

I have a suggestion. First google what you want, and then don't bother about the results in the first pages. Go to Page 5/6/7 or even Page 10 and see the results. Choose the appropriate ones.

If any body else in this forum knows something about this topic, I request them to help my friend out.

Hi Iman
I know you saw my post. Did you get any info from my post? I gave you 2 options. I expected you to choose any of them or tell me some other thing. I will try my best to help you.

Hi Praj,

Thank you very much.
Yes. I checked your link. That was so useful and to the point.
Actually, I'm not looking for any piece of audio or video clip to be translated to any language. But I'm looking for the methods and ways of dubbing,audio/video translations and the problems exist in this way.
Anyway, your suggested link was a very useful one and I'd be so thankful to be given any other similar sources.

Best Regards,

Iman
