Hi

Could you please tell me how the word beamEmotion: smile would sound to you in everyday English?

  1. What makes you beam now?
  2. Why are you beaming so unnecessarily?
  3. She sat in her armchair beaming with delight.

Thanks,

Tom

EDIT: Just to let you know, I did not make that smiley. I wrote the word smile in brackets and that's what I saw after I completed my post.

Add a space and it will work, e.g., ( smile), (smile ), or ( smile ).
