I am just wondering about the difference between "bear" and "endure".

For example, in the bible, it says the following;

"Love bears all things and ... love endures all things"

I think bear and endure are very much the same in meaning. Am I right?

Thanks in advance.
In the context of the Bible verse, the words have very little difference in meaning.

Merriam-Webster gives this brief analysis:

BEAR usually implies the power to sustain without flinching or breaking.

ENDURE implies continuing firm or resolute through trials and difficulties

It's hard to detect a difference here that one can apply to most situations. Perhaps 'endure' suggests a degree more of suffering. Their root definitions might also give a slightly different feeling: Bear (to carry), Endure (to harden).
