I think people who believe in God too much are just as superstitious as other people who believe in different things beside God.

Huh? And what about it? The faith is our primary mean to reach luck... This is also sometimes the one real thing that keeps me alive in this world...

The life itself is so unjust that it can't be our goal itself unless you were born and stayed with lovely and rich family. What's behind this world? Nothing??? If so, I wanna quit it!

How can you believe in God too much? It's not superstition, it's what I call faith. It doesn't surprise me you're from California.

Don't you think it's ignorant to say what I said is because I'm from California? Your question, how can you believe in God too much, shows that you either have no religion or you have not seen people who believe in God too much. When I said too much, it means there are people who would leave everything in God's hands. They believe their lives are already set by God. Whatever they do or will receive is God's will. When they get a good promotion, it's God's will. When they wish for a boy baby and have a boy baby, it's God's will. When they have a nice year doing their business, it's God's will. Et cetera.

To me, these thoughts are not faith. They are the same as superstition. Just because they believe in God, even blindly, it should be better than people who don't believe in God but other things?

Same thing with people who believe in superstition; it's their way to keep them out of things they believe are bad luck. For instance, breaking the mirror, walking under a ladder, killing a black cat, etc. are superstitious ideas. I don't see how believing in God too much/blindly can be different than believe in those things.
There's a saying that goes: Superstition is defined as any faith but one's own.

Haven't you considered that just believing in god is supertitious? There's no evidence that god exists.

Fristly, if you believe in any god, then you cannot believe too much. Secondly, belief in a god doesn't preclude being superstitious as well. The interesting question would whether atheists are or can be superstitious.
Why should atheists be superstitious, if they don't believe in supernaturals?
Maybe the more interesting question is: Why do people believe in God?
Isn't faith irrational? Why should somebody believe in things he has never seen before or he doesn't really know about?

And isn't the world moving towards an atheistic community, because of the surge of knowledge? It is said, that knowledge shrinks god. This seems quite true, because in ancient times people ascribed gods all natural processes, which they weren't able to justify, and just right now science is revealing the facts.
