As others have pointed out, the translation is incorrect. I suspect what happened is that the English > Chinese translator (or rather interpreter) was viewing the clip in which the PM made his remarks and decided that "old ***" was the appropriate term in that context.

The Spanish press translated it into "fanatic". I call that lazy translating. Even the billingual dictionary translates it to "intolerant".

And anyway, as Peter Mandelson has pointed out, Gordon didn't call her "that bigoted woman" he called her "that big-hearted woman" and anyway it was all Sue's fault.

Well she is a Grandmother of 66 , add that to how intolerance features in bigotry and mixed it up with what could be seen as bluntness, straight talking, situation affected intensity, mingled with evidential resistance to assume the role of acquiescent subordinate to the "great man" from the "big city" and misconstrue that as being opinionated stubbornness, which might be the hall marks of bitchiness, and there you have it.
