Hi

Do you think we can use 'get down to' in place of 'boil down to'?

(boil down to = amount to)

So what does it all boil down to?

So what does it all get down to?

Thanks,

Tom

No, I do not. Emotion: sad

I associate that with Stop fooling around! Let's get down to business.

I believe I have heard "come down to" however.

It comes down to a choice between your family and your career.
