Hello, teachers!
Would you please help me with this?

- I could bring my trip forward by a couple of days.
What does this sentence mean?
1. I could start my trip earlier than schedule.
2. I could come back home ahead of schedule, in other words, cut the duration down.

I think it means #1. Am I right?
If I'm right, how can I say to express the concept of #2? Maybe the following?
a. I could shorten my trip by a couple of days.
b. I could cut my trip down/off by a couple of days.

Thank you very much.
Peace!

Hi Jandi,

You're right on #1.

#2a is fine, or you could say 'I could cut my trip short by a couple of days'.
