What do you call a watch that has stopped functioning? Bear in mind, you don't know what the problem is. It could be just low on battery.

My shot: A broken watch

Thanks!

If you don't know that it's actually broken, then you just say "My watch has stopped."

Huh, my watch has stopped. I hope it just needs a new battery. The last time I had to have my watch repaired it cost a fortune!

'malfunctioning' - 'not working' - 'out-of-whack' - 'on the kafrtitz' (sp?) - 'having problems'

My problem is I don't know what state is considered broken especially when it comes to electronics. For example, my laptop can't power up or complete loading the OS.

Any good definition for electronics?

Thanks!
