Clark: Is everything okay? You just seem a little off.
Lois: The only thing i'm off is a certain blurry
butt-kicker's to-do list. (She's not in the mood because
the guy is too busy with his own things and doesn't stop
by to see her?) A little over a week,
and not so much as (he didn't even apologize for his
absence?) a, "sorry, I've been busy saving
the world, but got to run."
Clark: I didn't realizethe two of you were
actually seeing each other now.
Lois: At this point, it's not really
seeing so much as still looking.

Wait, doesn't Lois know that Clark is the Red Blur, or whatever he's called in that? I thought that Jim and Lois and Chloe and all of them knew?

She's "off his list" of things to do. He has too many things on his list to include her. (She feels this way, anyway.)

Not so much as a - She doesn't even get this little thing from him.
Thanks, Barbara!

Hi, Barbara

I wonder why she referred to that butt-kicker as "blurry" ... What's "blurry" mean when used as an adjective on people?

(I know that it means "indistinct in outline", but it can hardly be applied to people when describing their character, can it now ?)

Thank you !
Perhaps "blurry" refers to the fact that he's always seen traveling at high speed and hence in a blur?

Yes. The origin is really quite simple. Clark was once caught on picture
saving Lois. Of course all you could see on the pic was just red and blue blur.
Hence he was called The Red-Blue Blur.
