The table indicates fundamental data about activities in the spare time of three different groups.

It encompasses a 13-19-year-old group, a 20-65-year-old group, and an above 66-year-old group. Each group spend disparate time reading, using the computer, and working out.

The young are not avid readers because they merely use 5 minutes per weekend day to read while the time they use the computer is 75 minutes. By contrast, the old spend an hour reading and half an hour using the computer. The middle-age group spends the same time both reading and utilizing the computer, 30 minutes.

The amount of time the 20-65-year-old group spends on sports and exercise is 2 hours which is double the amount of time spent by the young group. The old group's expenditure on workout is only 20 minutes, which is one- third the young’s.

The table indicates (not a good word here) fundamental data (not a good word here) about activities in the spare time of three different groups.

It encompasses a 13-19-year-old group, a 20-65-year-old group, and an above 66-year-old group. Each group spend (wrong form) disparate (wrong word) time reading, using the computer, and working out.

The young are not avid readers (That is your conclusion. Do not write conclusions in Task 1) because they merely use 5 minutes per weekend day to read while the time they use the computer is 75 minutes. By contrast, the old spend an hour reading and half an hour using the computer. The middle-age group spends the same time both reading and utilizing (wrong word) the computer, 30 minutes.

The amount of time the 20-65-year-old group spends on sports and exercise is 2 hours which is double the amount of time spent by the young group. The old group's expenditure (wrong word) on workout is only 20 minutes, which is one- third the young’s.

Comment: This is not a good representation of this type of Task 1 exam. The table is much too small for selecting main features and doing comparisons. You struggled to write the minimum word count, and the reason is the poor practice test. Good practice exercises with tables have 5 rows and 3 or more data columns.

Compare with this table on the same topic.
