I have problem with translation following sentence. Can you please help me to explain the meaning. Also I'm sending whole context -see below.

"It has a case-type cross-section, and is fitted with a foot plate and with fittings protecting structures complying with the ADR 3 and 9, code LGBF."

whole text:
The CN 5K tanker body serves to fill and transport diesel fuel and light heating oil (in the event that a regeneration appliance, that is a vapour-exhaust, has been installed and the FL version electrical system has been fitted, it is possible to transport all kinds of fuels, including petrol and other substances in accordance with the ADR standard, class 3) with the maximum transported volume of 4,650 - 5,000 l. In the basic version, the actual tank has been designed as a single-compartment tank. It is made of steel, stainless steel or, with an additional charge, of the H 5186 aluminium alloy. It has a case-type cross-section, and is fitted with a foot plate and with fittings protecting structures complying with the ADR 3 and 9, code LGBF. The tanker body has been designed as a fixed truck body for chassis with a minimum effective weight of about 5,500 kg.

Technical parameters:
Geometric volume of the tank (steel tank) 4,950 l
Geometric volume of the tank (stainless steel tank) 4,950 l
Geometric volume of the tank (aluminium alloy tank) 5,300 l

Service weight of the tanker body (steel or stainless steel tank)
- according to the technological equipment: 1,200 kg or more
Service weight of the tanker body (aluminium alloy tank) – according to the technological equipment: 1,100 kg or more
Piping: AlMg4.5Mn W32 aluminium alloy, DN 3“ and DN 2“

Equipment of the tank:
Pump with a capacity of 35 – 180 l/min, with a DN 32mm fuel-filling pistol
Hose reel, DN 32 hose with a length of 15 m; the hose is reeled up mechanically; a DN 32mm fuel-filling pistol
Alfons Haar PRECIMA 500 X mechanical flow meter without a printer
Fuel filling, without the measuring appliance – a draining outlet DN 2“, MK 2“
Fuel filling, with the measuring appliance DN 2“, MK 2“

thanks in advance for your help

It has a case-type cross-section, and is fitted with a foot plate and with fittings protecting structures complying with the ADR 3 and 9, code LGBF."

I think this is saying things as follows:

[1]The tank has a case cross section = The tank is like a rectangular box in shape.
[2] The tank is fitted with a foot plate = The tank can be put on a plate (=flat board).
[3] The tank is fitted with fittings = The tank fit to any fittings (some apparatus to be attached to a tank) if the fittings are made to protect any structure (a tank or something like that) that fulfills the standards of the ADR 3 and 9, code LGBF.

Here 'ADR' is an abbreviation of "l'Accord Européen Relatif au Transport des Marchandises Dangereuses par Route. LGBF is an abbreviation for the code of specified tanks (L=tank for substances in the liquid state, G=minimum calculation pressure according to 6.8.2.1.15, B=tank with bottom-filling and discharge openings with 3 closures, F=tank with a venting system fitted with a flame trap according to 6.8.2.2.6 and TE1 of 6.8.4).

"It has a case-type cross-section, and is fitted with a foot plate and with fittings protecting structures complying with the ADR 3 and 9, code LGBF."

Some explanation is wrong:

foot plate is surface on the upper part of the tank on which u can walk

fittings protecting structures refers to protection of fittings and accessories on the upper part of the tank (SEE ADR 6.8.2.1.28)

ADR 3 and 9 means it can carry class 3 substances (flamable liquids) and class 9 substances (michelaneous)

LGBF - tank code. In ADR chapter 3.2.1. (dangerous goods list) you can see that each liquid substance requires certain coded tank. This particular code is for tanks which can transport substances 1202 (gas oil, diesel fuel, heating oil), 1203 (gasoline, petrol, motor spirit), 1223 (kerosene) but also many others...
