1/ In this context, what does carry mean?

2/ In this context, what does half sense mean?

If reading Hamlet, I hope you have an edition with lots of notes for the vocabulary, because it isn't easy, being old now.

If you are reading Hamlet, you should know that a lot of the English used there is different from the English spoken today.

I think carry means have here. She is saying things that are hard to understand and believe.
