please give me ideas on what to write in my cause/effect essay for my composition class..

i was thinking about "why women love soap operas?". what do you think?
Is that really an example of cause/effect? I don't think someone just enjoying a programme is enough of an effect.

If you want to use soap operas perhaps you should pick one, or a recent storyline, and show how that has had an effect. For example, if two young characters recently got married, has that contributed to an atmosphere of increased romance in your society and more people rushing off to the alter?
yes, i see your point. what would be a good example of an academic cause/effect essay?

I think you meant to write:

"Yes, I see your point. What would be a good example of an academic cause/effect essay?"

That's better, no?

nona the brit might choose to help you further by providing an example. But don't you think she has already been very helpful and it is time to think for yourself? This is your essay, not nona the brit's.
I think you should do an easy topic if you are having trouble. For example: If you do this, then this will happen. (smoking, talking back to your parents, open campus for high school, etc.)
