There are 5 bags of chips on the kitchen table, one of which is open. Which of the following doesn't make sense?

1. Eat the open bag

2. Don't open a new bag

3. Don't open a closed bag

4. Don't open and unopened bag.

Thanks in advance!

New2grammarThere are 5 bags of chips on the kitchen table, one of which is open. Which of the following doesn't make sense?

1. Eat the open bag Eat from the open bag.

2. Don't open a new bag This is good.

3. Don't open a closed bag Not natural.

4. Don't open and unopened bag. This is fine.

Thanks in advance!

I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. I interpret eating from the open bag as not pouring the chips into a bowl or something but eating directly from the bag.

I guess what I really want to say is finish the opened bag first (so we don't too many opened bags and the chips may go soggy)

I don't think you need to exclude pouring them into a bowl.
Sorry for what seems to be never ending questions. Just want to make sure I get this right, are you saying, if I take a bag of chips and pour the content out into a bowl, you would still call it "eating from the bag"?
