Do you need to say so much, and to sound so formal?

We very commonly say eg I cannot come to school tomorrow as I have a medical appointment.

These sentences re OK, but, but you are not really telling the reader much about what is wrong with you.

Thanks for your reply but actually we Indians are very inquisitive I needed to tell my principal about the problem before I was asked, as it helps me in various ways one I just described and the second one is it helps me a lot in learning to describe things in English properly.


So can you just correct my first paragraph please?
