I'm not sure it'll be clear, but maybe someone will have some thoughts on this.

Certain lady says something about another lady whom she met: I added the unimportant details of a coming change in apartment, money from a rebate, and a trip to San Antonio at Christmas, details that amused her.

--- I'm not sure how to understand "coming change". To me it sounds like she informed the other lady that in her apartment some money (change) will be waiting for her and this will be money from a rebate. What do you think?
Moving to a new apartment in the near future. Change in this context is the verb meaning.
Thanks Vorpar.
