Could you please tell me if these kind of phrases express kind of a friendship among people doing e.g. drinking?

drinking companions
journey or travelling companions(I don't know if it is correct.)
working companions(I'm not sure about it too..)
'Drinking companions' and 'travel companions' are both common. I think the third reference would more likely be 'co-worker'.
Thanks dear Philip, but are they necessarily friend, or a random guy count too? I mean companion does companion in here bear specific meanings or not?
