Who was this guy exactly? 'Well, there's a query and a half for instance. Tops, as the myriad intricacies undoubtably associated would have it for the $64,000,000 question any day of the week.'

My question is whether 'as the....week.', if that within the quotation makrs consititues a full sentnece or whether it is in fact only a fragment. And, if it is only a fragment does the word 'Tops' beforehand do enough to 'defragmentise' it so that, then, the whole word grouping becomes a proper sentence?

I submitted two posts about a soothsayer: the second because I thought there might have been a technical hitch or something re the initial effort. I notice now there's a trace of neither. What, pray tell, was wrong in that respect? There isn't, pardon my not so humble self, an agenda here against wit is there?
The topic is not 'soothsayers' and we are not interested in rants. You received notice that your post (twice) was off-topic.

Here is the topic:

"My question is whether 'as the..week.', if that within the quotation makrs consititues a full sentnece or whether it is in fact only a fragment."

It seems to me that that has been fully covered and that this thread should be closed.
