Sir,

1.He ran fast.

"fast" here adverb.

2.HE ran too fast.

"fast" could be adverb or adjective.

Would you please explain about the difference between (1) and (2).

Thanks.

'Fast' is an adverb in both sentences, and 'too' is an intensifying adverb modifying 'fast'.

AnonymousIS THE SENTENCE 'BRING THE BOOK FAST ' CORRECT?
It's o.k. I'd go with "bring me the book quickly", even in casual speech.
