Hi

Please, could anybody explain me the difference between Congratulations for/on?

Thanks in advance.

It's "congratulations on [an occasion]".

Congratulations on winning the award.
Congratulations on your wedding.
Congratulations on getting a promotion.

I suppose you might use "for" instead, but I don't think it's used as often.
