When speaking of doctors, do these sentences make sense:

a) "I'm longing for my consultation."

b) "I look forward to my consultation."

Note: By this, I mean I can't wait for my appointment with the doctor. (By the way, is it correct to say: '... my appointment with the doctor.'?

When speaking of doctors, do these sentences make sense:

a) "I'm longing for my consultation."<<<< longing for sounds too emotionally intense.

b) "I look forward to my consultation." consultation sounds very formal.

In casual everyday English, we just say eg I'll be glad when I can talk to the doctor.

Note: By this, I mean I can't wait for my appointment with the doctor. (By the way, is it correct to say: '... my appointment with the doctor.'?<<< Yes
