Hi,
1. We all arrived late.

2. John told me that he would be waiting at the coffee shop.

3. eg A large number of buildings.have air-conditioning.

4. What is the difference between please correct it and please do correct it?

The latter is used in contexts where you want to be very emphatic. Usually we don't use the 'do' version.

5. There is a bag on the back of the bike.

shravanmmWe all arrived/reached late. Here are arrived and reached interchangeable? When do we use reached? Thank you, Shravan.
'Reach' is transitive; it must be followed by an object.
'Arrive' is intransitive:

We reached the hotel at 8 o' clock./We arrived (at the hotel) at 8 o'clock.
Hi,
No. 'Reach' is a transitive verb, so it needs an object. 'Arrive' is intransitive.t.

eg We reached the restaurant late.
eg We arrived at the restaurant late but not We arrived the restaurant late.
eg We arrived late.
