Once, My girlfriend and I went to a what seemed to be upscale Japanese restaurant. As the waiter
escorted us to our table, we were greeted by the waiters along the way, at least 10 greetings.
We felt like kings. Since it was my first time there and I had no idea it would be a
high class restaurant, it worried me and I whispered in my girfriend's ear, "I don't think we can afford it".
She smiled and quietly assured me that the price was resonable. Not that I didn't
trust her, the atmosphere plus the service didn't make it look affordable. I was relieved when I looked at the menu.
It was an unforgettable experience. Just a small comment. The food sucked. You get what you pay for!

Are there any mistakes?

Thanks in advnace!

is the following sentence wrong:

She smiled and quietly assured me that the prices are reasonable.
Thanks MM.
CreativeGuru, since the whole story was written in the past, you should use the past tense, "the prices were reasonable"

Hope it helps.
