Hi,

Could anybody check this sentence please?

"NMES is a remedial method which provides muscle contraction, sensory input, and improved muscle activity through electrical stimulation of muscles."

Thanks

"Provides" doesn't work. "Produces" might, but it "produces sensory input" doesn't sound right. Can you clarify what you mean?

Thanks for your reply.

I want to say that NMES will cause muscles to contract and receive sensory input and also improve the activity of the muscles.

Site Hint: Check out our list of pronunciation videos.

Try "facilitates" instead of "provides".

"Facilitate" is not actually the word I need. Could you please comment on the following?

"This treatment method produces muscle contraction and improvement in muscle activity through electrical stimulation of muscles and receiving sensory inputs."

Thanks!

How about "causes"?

Does it work for all three terms that follow: muscle contraction, sensory input, and improved muscle activity?
