I would like to have the opportunity to enrol in this program, because I think it will contribute to my personal development by expanding my knowledge and widening my experience in a variety of economic courses. Also this opportunity would be a means to improve my English and to learn Dutch at the same time.

I am 22 years old student attending eighth semester of the Faculty of National Economy at the in specializing in Banking and International Finance. Banking, especially central banking is a field of study that I am very interested in. The theme of my graduation thesis is "Loss of Independent Monetary Policy after Euro Adoption". The is going to join the euro area in the next year, so the question of the loss of monetary policy is very actual and important in our country. It would be a great opportunity for me to spend some time in the academic environment of the university in a country that has introduced the euro since 1999 a has got experience with common monetary policy.
After completing my academic background, my goal is to work as an analytic in the National bank of . To be successful in my future career, I need to obtain extensive practical and theoretical knowledge in central banking. I think that a semester abroad would be a great experience for me and it would contribute to my personal and academic enrichment.

Another reason for studying abroad is to establish contact with a lot of different people, get to know their culture and different way of life. Students from all over the world can expand their knowledge and share different cultures and opinions. I am truly convinced that studying abroad can help develop your personality and broaden your horizons. An additional advantage is the opportunity to discover the cultural heritage of the country.

After researching co-operative universities, I have come to the conclusion that Erasmus School of Economics in is the perfect match for my aims. The most important features of this institution for me are the very high standard of studies and the very diverse international program.
Erasmus student mobility programme is a great and enriching challenge for me and I would be very grateful if I was given a chance.
