Hi

Could I say this?

'Are you going to be available on the coming Saturday?'

Thanks

I think it's perfectly acceptable.
Thanks for the reply, Andrij.

I was wondering if it would be better to say 'Are you going to be available in the coming Saturday?' .

Thanks again.

Try out our live chat room.
"In the coming Saturday", in my opinion, would be wrong, for you cannot use in + a specific day. "In the coming week", however, would be OK since we can use in + "week".
Thanks again for your speedy reply, Andrij.Emotion: smile

So I could say, 'Are you going to be available on the coming Saturday?' or 'Are you going to be available in the coming week? ' . Am I correct?

Thanks.
Hi,

So I could say, 'Are you going to be available on the coming Saturday?' or 'Are you going to be available in the coming week? ' . Am I correct?

Yes. However, I usually say 'on this coming Saturday' or just 'this coming Saturday'.

Best wishes, Clive

Thanks a lot, Clive. Emotion: smile

I guess I should use 'on this coming Saturday' or 'this coming Saturday' then. Emotion: stick out tongue
