The bar chart compares six age group categories of Australian men and women in terms of how frequently they do physical activity in 2010.

Overall, Australian women tended to exercise more frequently than Australian men. However, there was almost no difference in the frequency of doing physical activity of both Australian men and women aged 65 and over.

In detail, the Australian women aged 45 to 54 was the most physically active, with 53.3% of them exercising regularly. On the other hand, the young Australian men aged 15 to 24 was the one that had the highest proportion of doing regular physical activity, at 52.8%. With regards to Australians aged 35 to 44, this is the age group that showed the biggest gap in the figures between men and women. There was only 39.5% of men that exercised regularly, while that of women was at 52.5%. The figures for Australian men and women aged 65 and over was nearly the same, at 46.7% and 47.1% respectively.
