Could you comment on this sentence please?

"The inclusion criteria were: no history of neurological disorders, surgical, vascular, or traumatic injury, no history of voice therapy, smoking, alcohol or drug use, and no cold symptoms at the time of the test.



That is a classic crippled colon. I might make it

"The inclusion criteria were no cold symptoms at the time of the test and no history of the following: neurological disorders; surgical, vascular, or traumatic injury; voice therapy; smoking; and alcohol or drug use."

The semicolons are a housekeeping necessity because one of the items in the list has internal commas. Also, I don't know what vascular injury is such that it needs to be mentioned on a par with the other two.
