LUCK

Luck is a widespread belief. When faced with luck, most peple react in one or two ways but almost everyone knows what you are talking about not matter where in the world you are. Luck is like a religion for many people. In this essay I will discuss several aspects about luck.

Despite that most people believe in luck; you will always find someone who will tell you that luck doesn’t exist. However, I’m sure most of them have ever crossed their fingers or have kept a charm in his pocket during an exam. This is not to mention that although the odds of winning the lottery are very few, people spend their money on lottery looking forward to having a run of good luck to win it.

On the other hand, there are people who don’t believe in luck at all. To give a personal example; a friend of mine thinks that luck doesn’t exist. He says that what people call luck is actually uncontrolled factors. These uncontrolled factors decide whether you will pass an exam or what ball will be taken out from a bag. If you are able to control all these factor you don’t need luck. In other words, if you have studied all the possible questions before taking an exam you will have most factors under control. The more factors you can control the less you will depend on luck to success.

In conclusion, you cannot just rely on luck to success. The prospects of success without working hard are very limited. So, if I were you, I would trust hard work with my success and would trust luck with my lottery.
