Hi teachers,
According to this question, 'How quickly did he find the river?'

Thanks in advance.

It wouldn't be incorrect, but without any context, I wouldn't consider it a good answer.

Neither would I consider it a good question.
"Quickly" and "soon" are different categories of adverbs.

When will you help me with my homework? (reply) Soon. This is natural.

How quickly did he find the river? (reply) Very quickly! This is natural.

Hi Avangi,
Thank you for your reply and examples. Does my question fit? This is the context.
Then he heard a new noise. Water.
‘A river!’ he thought. ‘The dogs can’t follow me across water.
Where is it? Quick!’ Soon he found the river.

Hi Avangi,
After having thought about your reply and to see if I understood it, the question and the answer should be 'When did he find the river? He found the river soon.'
Am I right?

TS
Yes. This works!
