Hi all,

I am currently looking for a new position in finance as I have been laid off quite recently due to the financial crisis.

I have already sent some applications but I am affraid some parts of my cover letter may be a bit rubbish.

I would really appreciate if you could help me to be sure that what I send to potential employers is "perfect english"!

Many thanks

Below is the text I'd like you to check :
I have a comprehensive professional experience, during which I have had exposure to various financial products / investment strategies as an asset manager or a risk controller. I have developed an extensive knowledge of financial markets and most asset classes. Specialized in equity markets and arbitrages, I have also acquired strong technical skills in different fields such as funds allocation and derivatives. The position you want to fulfil is for me a unique occasion to synthesize my previous experience and take part in an ambitious global and large-scale project. I am an analytical, proactive and committed team player who can work autonomously.
I am looking forward to your case but I cant understand financial field more
Thanks for trying anyway, that's very kind.

Financial concepts apart, do you think the wording of my letter is correct?
Students: We have free audio pronunciation exercises.
Can someone please have a look to my letter. Can swap french if you need.

thx
